Japan Society of Boston Film Club: "Like Father, Like Son"

Our next film is written, directed, and edited by the great Japanese director, Hirokazu Kore-eda. Like Father, Like Son or そして父になる,  is a 2013 drama starring Masaharu Fukuyama  as businessman Ryota who faces a life-changing decision after he receives a phone call from the hospital informing him that his biological son was switched at birth.

Films should be viewed in advance of our meetings. This film can be viewed for free on sites like Kanopy, which can be accessed with a Boston Public Library card, or purchased online at various sites.  

This meeting has been rescheduled to avoid a time conflict on October 30th. It is also the last JSB film club meeting of 2024.
