O-Bon Festival
Thursday, August 29th: 6:00 PM
Before the fall and a new school year begins...
Enjoy an evening experiencing a traditional * Japanese summer festival.
 
Bring a lawn chair, or a blanket to sit on.  
You can even bring a picnic dinner,  snacks 
OR  buy a meal from us.
Meal orders must be placed by Monday, 8/26: 
$6 chicken katsu meal
$5 vegetarian meal tofu katsu

Activities will include:
Student performance
Trying on traditional Japanese clothes
Origami
Calligraphy
Taiko drumming 
Yo-yo balloon fishing: yo-yo tsuri

 *This event will be held outside on the Front Lawn next to our Adminstration Building.  Please plan according to the weather, ie. a light jacket, bug repelant, etc.
 At the festival, be sure to learn m0re about the
students arriving this September and The Showa Friendship Circle.
