Yoshizumi Kosayo (吉住 小三代) is a master shamisen performer.  She is the principal teacher of Yoshizumi-ryu style shamisen. Yoshizumi-ryu is one of the biggest schools of Nagauta, traditional Japanese songs that accompany shamisen music. She is a chair on the board of directors of the NPO Shamisen-Ongaku-Fukyu-no-Kai (Shamisen Music Popularization Association). Yoshizumi Kosayo was born in Tokyo to a famous Noh family, and started practicing the Shamisen at the age of 12 and married the famous Yoshizumi Nagauta family, and trained under Yoshizumi Jikyo, Master Nagauta singer.  She has been recognized as qualified to pass-on the "Intangible Cultural Property" of Nagauta.

Yoshizumi Koyuya (
吉住 小友也) is a traditional Japanese instrument musician, specializing in the Japanese hand-drum, drum and flute.
